J<\/strong>ACKSON, MS. (December 17th<\/sup>, 2024) \u2013<\/strong>Century Club Charities\u00a0continues to support Mississippi charities, today announcing a $1,000,000 donation to\u00a0Friends of Children\u2019s Hospital\u00a0from proceeds of the 2024\u00a0Sanderson Farms Championship.<\/p>\n

At a news conference Tuesday morning, Century Club Charities presented the check to Friends of Children’s Hospital (FOCH), a fundraising organization dedicated to supporting the\u00a0University of Mississippi Medical Center\u2019s pediatric healthcare mission, including the state\u2019s only children\u2019s hospital. The $1 million gift, coupled with over $750,000 to other Mississippi charities, brings Century Club Charities’ total charitable impact statewide to over $1.75 million in 2024.<\/p>\n

“We are deeply grateful to our Title Sponsor, Wayne-Sanderson Farms, along with our Tournament Partners, the PGA TOUR, The Country Club of Jackson, Century Club Charities members, staff, and volunteers, for their incredible support,” said JR Woodall, MD, President of Century Club Charities, Inc. “Their contributions helped us host a first-class event and make a meaningful impact on Mississippi charities, including Children’s of Mississippi, at a time when their support is needed most.”<\/p>\n

Since Sanderson Farms, Inc., now Wayne-Sanderson Farms, became the Title Sponsor in 2013, the tournament and Century Club Charities have contributed over $18.95 million to Friends of Children’s Hospital and other Mississippi charities. Since 1994, Century Club Charities has raised more than $26.25 million for Mississippi charities.<\/p>\n

Children\u2019s of Mississippi, which includes the children\u2019s hospital and clinics around the state, care for nearly 200,000 children annually.<\/p>\n
